A MEDICAL NGO BORN ON THE FRONT LINES
HuSoMe — Humanité, Solidarité, Médecine (Humanity, Solidarity, Medicine) — is a non-governmental organisation registered under French law, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Metz.
HuSoMe was founded by Professor Raphaël Pitti, an anaesthesiologist and intensive-care physician, former French military medical officer and expert in war and disaster medicine.
Its purpose is to provide a medical and humanitarian response to civilian populations affected by conflicts or disasters. This response is organised around five areas: training health personnel in emergency and war medicine, improving access to primary care, supplying medical equipment and medicines, protecting orphaned children, and distributing drinking water and essential goods.
Since 2012, counting the work carried out before and after the organisation was founded, more than 35,000 people have been trained by Pr Pitti’s teams.

HuSoMe — Humanité, Solidarité, Médecine — is a non-governmental organisation registered under French law, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Metz.
Pr Pitti’s teams have trained more than 35,000 people since 2012, counting the work carried out before and after HuSoMe was founded.
Its purpose is to provide a medical and humanitarian response to civilian populations affected by conflicts or disasters. This response is organised around five areas:
- training health personnel in emergency and war medicine;
- improving access to primary care;
- supplying medical equipment and medicines;
- protecting orphaned children;
