On 21 May, following the creation of HuSoMe Ukraine, our organisation took another important step in its international development with the official launch of HuSoMe Luxembourg.
This new branch marks significant progress in HuSoMe’s ambition to strengthen its network of solidarity action across borders and to further develop its humanitarian missions for the most vulnerable populations.
An evening of sharing and commitment
To celebrate this birth, volunteers, partners, supporters and committed individuals gathered for a friendly, warm evening. Music, a buffet and conversation set the pace of this event, which was an opportunity to present the new organisation’s ambitions and upcoming projects.
Beyond its festive character, the launch was above all an opportunity to recall the values that have driven HuSoMe since its creation: solidarity, the sharing of medical knowledge and commitment to populations affected by humanitarian crises.
A fast-growing international network
The opening of HuSoMe Luxembourg is part of the international development the association has pursued in recent years. After the many actions carried out in France and the recent creation of HuSoMe Ukraine, this new branch will strengthen European collaboration and bring new people on board HuSoMe’s humanitarian projects.
This presence in Luxembourg also opens up new prospects for cooperation, funding and awareness-raising in support of the field missions HuSoMe backs.
On the way to HuSoMe Palestine
This new stage comes as the association actively pursues the steps needed to register HuSoMe Palestine in the West Bank.
This project represents a major step forward in strengthening aid to Palestinian populations and developing lasting humanitarian action as close as possible to needs on the ground.
With HuSoMe Luxembourg today and HuSoMe Palestine tomorrow, our organisation confirms its determination to build a solid international network, able to respond effectively to today’s humanitarian challenges while carrying the values of solidarity, dignity and humanity at the heart of its commitment.
