COOKIE POLICY
This site measures its traffic without cookies. Its only advertising tracker, the Meta pixel, is loaded only with your consent — here is what the site does, and the cases where an external service is involved.
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Most sites use them to measure their audience or show you advertising. Here, traffic is measured without cookies, by anonymous tools, and the only advertising tracker — the Meta pixel — waits for your consent. Our fonts are hosted on our servers, not loaded from a third-party service that would see each of your visits.

TRAFFIC MEASURED WITHOUT COOKIES
Browsing the site — pages, articles, photographs — sets no audience-measurement cookies. Traffic is counted by Ahrefs Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which set no cookies and cannot follow you from one site to another.
The site does, however, keep your answer to the consent banner in your browser (local storage), so as not to ask you again on every page; it expires after 13 months. The source parameters of a link (utm_*, fbclid) are kept for the duration of your visit, to link any donation to the campaign that prompted it.
THE META PIXEL
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept the Meta pixel. It is used to measure how well our donation appeals on Facebook and Instagram perform: once loaded, it sets cookies and sends Meta the pages you visit and, where applicable, the amount of your donation.
If you refuse, it is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta from your browser. You can change your mind at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer; you will be asked again after 13 months.
Independently of this choice, a recorded donation is reported to Meta by our server, without cookies: details are in our privacy policy.
THREE TECHNICAL CASES, ALL TRIGGERED BY YOU
Video. Videos are served by YouTube in cookie-free mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and the player is loaded only when you click “play”. Until you do, no connection is made with YouTube. Once the video starts, YouTube may measure playback; closing the window removes the player.
Donations. The donation process uses Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe sets technical cookies needed for transaction security and fraud prevention. They are essential to payment: without them, the donation cannot go through.
Newsletter subscription. The field in the footer is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check that runs only when you submit and is not used for advertising tracking. Turnstile may set a technical token for the duration of this check.
REFUSING OR DELETING THESE TRACKERS
Refusing the Meta pixel in the banner, not playing the video, not opening the donation process and not subscribing to the newsletter is enough to have no cookie set.
Your browser also lets you block or delete existing cookies, service by service. Please note, however: blocking Stripe’s cookies prevents payment from going through, and blocking Turnstile prevents newsletter subscription.
