Operating conditions hardened in 2025: closed crossing points and restrictions on financial transfers in Gaza, growing needs and recruitment difficulties in Ukraine, persistent instability in Syria.

Gaza
Four medical points, 22,000 litres of drinking water a day, a home for 35 children who are their families’ sole survivors, and funding for the night shift of an emergency department.

A training centre in Lviv where 1,878 health workers were trained in war medicine in 2025, over 172 sessions and ten different courses.

A long-standing area of operation, reaching as far as the siege of Aleppo. In 2025, the IBSAR eye-care programme enabled 1,699 consultations and the distribution of 506 pairs of glasses.

Lebanon
One million people displaced in less than a week. HuSoMe supports the Lebanese NGO Amel Association International in purchasing and distributing essential goods.
