The course exceeded my expectations. I really appreciated the combination of theory and practice: each module was immediately followed by hands-on training, which made the content understandable and easy to remember. The CABCDE, SAMPLE and AMIS algorithms are now essential reference points for me in caring for patients.
The exercises based on realistic scenarios were particularly useful: controlling critical haemorrhage, clearing the airway, managing pneumothorax and shock. Practising with stretchers, boards and the Kendrick device gave me confidence in the safe evacuation of casualties.
For me, this course was a real step forward: I now feel much more confident in my work, I know how to react in critical situations and I am able to help the team act in a coordinated way. I think all doctors and first responders should take this training.
