Lebanon Emergency: 1 Million Lives Thrown Into Chaos
The scale of the disaster in a few figures
1,000,000 people displaced in less than one week (Source: UN, March 9, 2026).
486 deaths and more than 1,300 injuries reported since the beginning of this new phase of escalation 7 days ago.
500,000 Lebanese registered as displaced within just 24 hours with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
80% of the population was already living below the poverty line before this conflict; today, basic resources (water, food, and baby formula) are running out.
In this context of great urgency, HuSoMe has decided to support the Lebanese NGO Amel Association International, an organization deeply rooted in the country, which has shared its appeal with us in order to respond to the current emergency in Lebanon.
Thanks to this collaboration, we are supporting people affected by the crisis by contributing to the purchase and distribution of essential goods.
Every gesture, no matter how small, is a lifeline for a family that lost everything in just a few seconds.
The Lebanese people have already endured so much. Today, their resilience alone is no longer enough. They need our concrete solidarity.
