Our objectives
To contribute to reducing morbidity and mortality related to the health of the population affected by war in the Gaza Strip.
To improve access to essential, acceptable, inclusive, and high-quality primary healthcare services for the most vulnerable populations by activating 6 medical units.
Timeline
October 7, 2023: Following the “Al-Aqsa Flood” attacks, Israeli airstrikes and bombardments targeted Gaza, including hospitals.
2023/24: More than 1.4 million people displaced in a city originally designed to host 250,000 residents. They are living in extremely harsh conditions: overcrowding, lack of access to drinking water, ineffective sanitation systems, and severe food insecurity.
