DO YOU KNOW WHO THE ONLY SURVIVORS ARE?!

Among the thousands of orphans in Gaza,
there is a particularly vulnerable group.
Those who are the sole survivors of their families,
with no one left to care for them.
No one to protect them, feed them, provide medical care, or listen to them.
They are without shelter and left to fend for themselves.

    The situation of orphans in Gaza has now reached dramatic proportions. According to WAFA (the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics), children make up 43% of the Palestinian population, and more than 39,000 orphans are currently living in the Gaza Strip.

    The living conditions of these children are particularly precarious: wandering among the ruins, without stable shelter or adequate care, each orphan in Gaza faces malnutrition, psychological trauma, and a lack of access to healthcare that has become tragically unacceptable.

    Since October 2023, thousands of orphans in Gaza have been living in complete abandonment. Without family, shelter, or food, they wander through the ruins in search of a little water, a safe place, or a helping hand.

    As a humanitarian organization, HuSoMe takes concrete action for every orphan in Palestine.
