A humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing a glimmer of hope to the most vulnerable families
On the occasion of Eid, the HuSoMe association carried out a large-scale solidarity campaign in support of widowed women and their children living in the camps of Gaza.
The aim of this initiative was to distribute 500 festive food parcels, designed not only to meet essential needs but also to provide a moment of comfort in an extremely difficult daily life.
Each parcel, valued at €60, represented a total commitment of €30,000 mobilized for this humanitarian action.
Parcels designed not only to provide food, but also to offer comfort.
In a context marked by severe humanitarian hardship, HuSoMe sought to go beyond traditional food aid.
The parcels distributed notably include:
- Eid meat, a strong symbol of sharing and celebration.
- Cakes and biscuits
- Colorful sweets for children
- “Renad” oil
- And various treats intended to bring a little warmth and comfort
The idea is simple but essential: to restore a moment of dignity and joy in the tents of displaced families.
Volunteers mobilized in the heart of the Gaza camps
In the field, HuSoMe teams and volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare and distribute these parcels in particularly challenging conditions.
In the Gaza camps, their commitment made it possible to deliver aid directly to beneficiaries, despite a complex and unstable environment.
Their presence was essential in ensuring that the operation reached widows and orphans under the best possible conditions.
A chain of solidarity driven by collective commitment.
This campaign relied on a true chain of solidarity bringing together donors, volunteers, and local teams.
Each parcel delivered was the result of a collective effort, guided by a strong conviction: not to leave the most vulnerable families without support.
Volunteers, through their courage and determination, played a central role in the success of this humanitarian action.
HuSoMe and Gaza: concrete action in an emergency context
Through this operation, HuSoMe reaffirmed its commitment to populations affected by humanitarian crises, with particular attention to widowed women and their children.
Eid was thus transformed into a moment of solidarity, where each parcel distributed represented far more than food aid: a message of hope and dignity.
